Richard Adams is a Licensed Paramedic and Advanced Coordinator through the Texas Department of State Health Services. He is also a National Registry representative for the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians. He has 23 years experience in EMS as a provider and educator.
He was a police officer, firefighter, paramedic with the Dallas DFW Airport Department of Public Safety for 14 years. He took early retirement from the airport to move to Tyler, Texas and accept employment as an instructor in the Emergency Medical Service Professions Department. He also served as Department Chair at TJC.
He was Education Manager for Champion EMS in Longview, Texas for 6 years.
He graduated from El Centro College in Dallas with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Police Science. He also graduated from the American College of Prehospital Medicine with a Bachelor of Science degree in Emergency Medical Service (Cum Laude).
