  EMT Advanced/Intermediate Challenge Examinations.
Currently certified EMT Advanced / Intermediates, with prior approval from our Program Director, may challenge the Written Final Examination and the Final Skills Examination of PERCOM's EMT Intermediate/Paramedic 1 course. In order to challenge the Written Final Exam you must insure that your computer (or one that you have access to) meets our minimum System Requirements. The final exam is given online with a proctor observing the student via web-cam.
The Final Skills Testing session must be scheduled at one of our approved testing sites. These sites are scattered throughout the state and their dates are preset. You must contact programdirector@percomonline.com to find the specific site and date combination the will suit your needs.
The Final Skills Testing sessions take 2 days to complete. You will be expected to demonstrate competency in all of the skills listed in the Skills Challenge List during the session.
Students must pass both the Written Final Exam and the Final Skills Examination on their 1st attempt to enroll in PERCOM's Paramedic 2 Course. Students who do not pass on the first attempt will be required to take PERCOM's Paramedic 1 Remediation course before continuing to Paramedic 2.
